World Mental Health Day (October 10), is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. It was first celebrated in 1992 at theinitiativeof the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more than 150 countries.
世界精神卫生日(10月10日)是用来在全球范围内提升心理卫生教育、增强心理卫生意识的一天。1992年，世界精神卫生日由世界心理卫生联和会发起。该组织是一个联合了150多个国家的全球性心理卫生机构。
This year the theme is "Investing in mental health". Financial and human resources allocated for mental health are inadequateespecially in low resource countries. The majority of low and middle-income countries spend less than 2% of their health budget on mental health.
今年世界精神卫生日的主题是“为心理健康投资”。在一些资源匮乏的国家，心理卫生方面的经济、人力资源严重不足。大部分中低收入国家在这方面的支出不足全部卫生事业支出的2%。
